Westside High School is considered to be amongst the best Public High Schools in Nebraska. Westside High School offers 23 Advanced Placement Courses and 17 Honors Courses. Westside is one of 10 schools nationally that utilize modular scheduling for classes. This allows students to take more courses, have access to teachers throughout the school day, and provides students the opportunity to become independent and responsible learners.
Westside High School offers numerous enrichment opportunities in which students can pursue academic interests. Westside collaborates with the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, which offers our students the unique opportunity to take classes in their Zoo Academy. We have a partnership with the UNMC Health Alliance, providing students who are interested in the medical field the option to take classes at the Nebraska Medical Center. Our state of the art Engineering, Welding, and Fabrication Lab provides our students hand on experience and training with local trades industries and professionals. The Nebraska Furniture Mart School of Entrepreneurship provides Westside learners real-life scenarios and practice in business and marketing. WHS also offers opportunities to earn a Seal of Biliteracy, which recognizes students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation.

All of our Varsity matches are recorded and uploaded to Hudl for video and statistical analysis. Our gym is equipped with Hudl Focus and our athletes have immediate access to all game film for match prep, individual improvement, and recruiting purposes.
NeuroTrainer is state of the art technology focused on improving individual hand-eye coordination, decision making speed, and focus. It helps athletes learn to recover from errors and prime for optimal performance.
Win It Matters provides sports psychology and performance enhancement opportunities for our athletes. This includes leadership, confidence, mental toughness, performing under pressure, and nutrition education.
Andrew is married to Jessica Wehrli and has three beautiful girls and a son: Gabriella, Eliza, Finn, and Estella. Andrew enjoys reading, family time, pickleball, fitness, and home projects in his spare time.
